🔍 Species Identification

These are the non-negotiable traits that define this species.

They must be present in every design.

If any are missing, the design is invalid and does not belong to this species.


Mane

• A full mane that wraps completely around the head

• A spinal mane running down the back

• Head and spinal manes are connected and must match in color


Body Color

Any color combination is allowed as long as and natural dog‑breed patterns are permitted except for Dalmatian spots, while solid coloring or minimal patterning is preferred overall; however, feline patterns such as cheetah prints, leopard‑style markings, or tabby stripes are not allowed.


Keratin Plates

- layered and shaped like rounded triangles.

- Can be any colors

Required amount:

• Muzzel plates: 4-8; recommended 6

• Knee plates: 2–8; recommended 4


Tail

• Tapered tail ending in a soft, wispy tuft

Ears

• double ear: one large (with an ear canal) and one smaller solid ear made of cartilage


Antennae

• are flexible and can hold shape when bent, two must be present


Claws

• Dark claws required: black is preferred, but navy, maroon, or deep violet are also valid, no cream or white claws, dark grey is fine.


Tongue

• Can be partially split tongue or solid


Paw Pads

• Heart-shaped main paw pads with point of the heart facing toward fingers tips

• Raindrop-shaped toe pads pointing toward the tips of the paws

Jewelry

- Every Draklyn wears jewelry.

(earring, ring, bracelet) or multiple pieces.

- At least one piece of jewelry must be present.

This species has a naturally calm and gentle presence, and they are often nature‑oriented.
